BSCJ Learn & Connect is an international Christian community based in Cluj-Napoca, dedicated to sharing the love of Christ by offering Romanian language classes and fostering meaningful connections among foreigners living in the city. Rooted in our faith, we believe in serving others and building a supportive, loving environment where everyone can grow—both in language and in fellowship.
Who We Are
We are a diverse group of believers, volunteers, and educators who follow Christ's example of love, service, and unity. Our mission is to help people learn Romanian, make lasting friendships, and feel more at home in Cluj. We welcome everyone, regardless of background or faith, and aim to reflect God’s grace in everything we do.
Over 100 individuals have joined our Romanian language classes, growing together in both language and community.
We’ve hosted more than 5 events, connecting people from all over the world and creating lasting memories.
Our diverse community represents over 11 nationalities, uniting people through language, culture, and faith.
Being a part of BSCJ Learn & Connect has been such a rewarding experience. As a volunteer, I’ve had the opportunity to not only help others learn Romanian but also to build strong connections with people from all over the world. Our community is truly unique—driven by love, faith, and a desire to serve. I see God working through our classes and events, as people come together, learn, and support one another. It’s a blessing to be part of something that makes such a positive impact on so many lives.

Romanian Classes
Inspired by our Christian commitment to generosity, we offer weekend language classes for all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. Our classes focus on practical, conversational Romanian, with the goal of helping you feel more confident in everyday situations.
Community Events
We regularly organize events—both indoor and outdoor—where you can practice Romanian and build relationships in a welcoming, Christ-centered community. These events range from picnics to cultural workshops, and they are opportunities for connection, fellowship, and mutual support.

Our Roots
BSCJ Learn & Connect is an initiative born from the vision of Biserica Penticostală Speranța Cluj, a vibrant Christian community that has been serving Cluj-Napoca for over 30 years. Established with a mission to spread hope, faith, and love, Biserica Speranța has always prioritized supporting both locals and foreigners alike. Our church’s long-standing tradition of outreach, hospitality, and cultural integration inspired the creation of BSCJ Learn & Connect, reflecting our commitment to welcoming and uplifting those seeking connection in a new place.
